Dr Thuy ("Twee) Tran is an experienced senior occupational therapist specialising in Hand and Upper Limb Rehabilitation, an Accredited Hand Therapist (as awarded by the AHTA), a Research Coordinator at Hand Works Occupational Therapy, and a lecturer, coordinating the 'Foundations of Biomechanics and Hand Therapy' unit at Edith Cowan University in Perth, Western Australia. She is passionate about intertwining occupation-based practice in the field of hand therapy and for her PhD project, she developed a person-centred and holistic approach to managing work-related Lateral Elbow Tendinopathy. Thuy's research interests revolve around upper limb ergonomics, workplace-based assessments and interventions and the important role hand therapists' have on the return-to-work process.
