Jason Fairclough is a graduate of the CicadaInnovation's Medical Device Commercialisation Training Program and is engaged in research and development in the areas of phalangeal fracture management with skin traction, wrist rehabilitation with gyroscopic exercise devices, and rapid adjustable splinting. He holds a number of international and provisional patents, and is engaged in research work with the University of Sydney, NSW Health and the NHS. Jason is a physiotherapist and Certified Hand Therapist with a Masters in Health Science (Physiotherapy - Hand Therapy Subspecialty) from University of Sydney. Jason has 20 years clinical experience – both public and private and enjoys research on innovative product development. Jason has presented at International Surgical Conferences in Germany, Argentina, China and Australia on skin traction methods for managing phalangeal fractures, he has run EAVAST workshops in Europe and the UK, and is a key research member in the EAVAST method (Early Active Vector Adjustable Skin Traction). Jason Fairclough is the founder of Kangaroo Medtek, and also manages the Hand and Upper Limb Therapy (HAULT services) as a contractor and trainer.
