This workshop will explore wound care options that reduce dressing bulk and facilitate movement while promoting wound healing for hand trauma. The session will utilise case studies for discussion and provide participant’s the opportunity to ‘touch/feel/apply’ many of the dressing products currently in use. Products will be classified into ‘generic’ categories and a handout based on dressings discussed will be provided. Interaction will be encouraged. Come prepared for discussion to further develop skills for the management of hand trauma.
